Frequently asked questions
Is this keyword generator free?+
Yes, completely free. No signup, no credit card, no limits. Generate as many keyword lists as you want.
What trades does this tool support?+
Any local service business: plumbers, HVAC contractors, electricians, roofers, dentists, auto repair shops, cleaning services, attorneys, landscapers, painters, pest control, locksmiths and more.
How should I use these keywords?+
Use them in your website title tags, meta descriptions, service page content, Google Business Profile description and blog posts. Focus on 2 or 3 core keywords per page rather than stuffing all of them in.
Are these keywords based on real search data?+
The keywords are generated from proven local SEO patterns, the same keyword structures that local service businesses rank for every day. For exact search volumes, use Google Keyword Planner after generating your list here.
What is the difference between these keyword types?+
Core keywords are the main terms customers search. Emergency keywords target urgent intent with higher conversion. Question keywords are great for blog content. Review keywords help you appear for trust based searches.
A keyword list is not a strategy. Here is what to do with it.
Most people generate a list like this, paste every term onto their homepage, and see nothing change. Google ranks pages against a single intent, so a page trying to rank for forty keywords at once ranks for none of them. The list above is raw material. What follows is the order we work through it with clients.
Start with one page per intent, not per keyword
Group your list into the job the searcher wants done. Every phrase meaning "fix this now" belongs on one emergency page. Every phrase meaning "replace this eventually" belongs on another. Two or three closely related keywords per page is the working rule. If two terms would be answered by the same paragraph, they belong together. If they would not, they need separate pages.
Put the keyword where it carries weight
For each page, use the primary keyword in the title tag, the H1, the first hundred words, and the URL slug. That is enough. Repeating it another twenty times does not help and reads badly to the person you are trying to convert. Your meta description will not change your ranking directly, but it decides how many people click, which is the part you actually feel.
Use the emergency terms differently
Emergency and near me searches convert far better than general ones, because the person searching has already decided to hire someone. They also behave differently: the searcher is usually on a phone, often outdoors, and rarely reads past the first screen. Pages targeting these terms need a tappable phone number above the fold, your hours visible, and load times that survive a weak mobile connection. Ranking for an emergency keyword with a slow page wastes the ranking.
Send the question keywords to your blog
Question phrasing rarely converts on its own, so do not build service pages around it. It earns attention, links, and increasingly citations from AI answers. Answer each question directly in the first two sentences, then link from that post to the service page that would solve the problem. That internal link is what turns informational traffic into work.
Check volume before you commit
This tool builds keyword lists from the patterns local service businesses genuinely rank for. It does not report how many people search each term, because that number varies by city and changes month to month. Before building a page, paste your shortlist into Google Keyword Planner or any keyword tool to see real volumes for your market. In smaller cities, a term with modest volume and clear intent will out earn a high volume term you have no chance of ranking for.
Feed your Google Business Profile too
Keywords are not only for your website. Add the services from your list to the services section of your Google Business Profile, work the natural phrasing into your business description, and use the question keywords as prompts for profile posts. For most local businesses the profile drives more calls than the website does, and it is the part most competitors leave half filled in.
