    Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing or using the LocalHero website at https://localhero.live and any related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our Services.

    Services Description

    LocalHero provides local SEO services including but not limited to Google Business Profile optimization, local citation building, authority backlink building, review management, website optimization, and related digital marketing services.

    The specific scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees for our services are outlined in a separate service agreement or statement of work provided to each client. These Terms of Service govern the general use of our website and form the framework for any subsequent client agreements.

    User Obligations

    By using our Services, you agree to:

    • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when requested
    • Use our website and services only for lawful purposes
    • Not engage in any activity that could harm, disable, or impair our website or services
    • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems
    • Not use our services to violate any applicable laws or regulations

    Intellectual Property

    All content, materials, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on our website — including text, graphics, code, designs, and software — are owned by or licensed to LocalHero and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

    You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any content from our website without our prior written consent.

    Client Content & License

    By engaging our services, you grant LocalHero a limited, revocable license to access and use your website, Google Business Profile, and other online assets solely for the purpose of performing the agreed services. This license terminates upon completion or cancellation of services.

    Payment Terms

    Fees for services are as specified in your service agreement. Payments are due according to the schedule outlined in your agreement. Late payments may result in service suspension. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in your service agreement.

    Service Cancellation

    After an initial 90-day period, your service agreement converts to month-to-month. You may cancel at any time with 30 days’ written notice. Upon cancellation, we will provide a final report of work completed. No refunds will be issued for partial months.

    Disclaimer of Warranties

    Our Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. LocalHero makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding:

    • The operation or availability of our website or services
    • Specific ranking outcomes, traffic increases, or business results
    • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content

    We cannot guarantee specific Google rankings, as search algorithms are beyond our control. Results vary based on competition, market conditions, and other factors.

    Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalHero shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of our Services.

    Our total liability for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to LocalHero in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

    Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LocalHero, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of our Services or your violation of these Terms.

    Governing Law

    These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Alameda County, California.

    Changes to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

    Severability

    If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
